STREET DATE: MIDDLE OF OCTOBER

Formed in December of 2023, Haywire does what they want on their own terms. Playing more shows in two and a half years then most bands play their whole career. Haywire has played around 400 shows in a less than a three year period, including playing 96 shows in 101 days during the summer of 2024. Completely booked by the band themselves, that run included hitting all 50 states within six months, capping off the massive journey by flying from Alaska to Hawaii to play the two hardest states to get to.

When it comes to Haywire it seems as if there is no one title you can put on the band. Bouncing between DIY tours on their own, arenas all over Europe with the Dropkick Murphys, and a self-booked world tour, they find a way to win over anyone in any space. Using that hardworking ethos, they have since established For The Children & Back To School Jam in Boston. Using their platform alongside the tight knit community's help to collect thousands of toys and fill backpacks with school supplies for children who otherwise struggle to have their most basic needs met.
Recently, Haywire have signed to major label Roadrunner Records where they will release their second LP titled I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye.

Sonically shifting more towards anthemic songs, there are still some true straight forward hardcore tracks such as “Flex Your Head” & “Forever Alone”. Tracks like “That’s Life”, “Interstate Love Affair”, “Sincerely Yours,” and “I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye” lean into the sing-along anthem side of Haywire. Those songs trace the inevitable forks in the road we all face in our lives, and the album is ultimately an ode to everyday life and a tribute to those long nights with your best friends that you never want to end.

Without a doubt, I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye producer Mat Kerekes (Citizen) played a massive role with how big some of these hooks came to be. He expertly recognized the direction the band was looking to go in and helped amplify the potential shown by the catchiness of the songs.

I Don’t Want To Say Goodbye will be the fifth release by Haywire in just around three short years and they’re just getting started. Going into 2027 the band has over 250 shows planned. Whether it is headlining Sound & Fury or playing under a bridge for free. Haywire is coming to a city near you. Any place. Any time.
